Join Our Dance Community
Creative Dance Academy is a dance academy specializing in Ballet, Modern/Jazz, Contemporary and Dance Studies (School subject Gr10 – 12).
We train both female and male students from aged 3 years old to those still “young at heart” on levels varying from beginners to pre-professional. Our students excells both in dance examinations as well as on stage performances.
Our passion is theatre and we therefore train students specifically for stage performances.
BALLET CLASSES
Ages 3 years to adults.
Beginners to Advanced dancers.
We are fully registered at the Cecchetti Society of South Africa and can enter students from beginners to Advanced 2 for examinations.
MODERN/CONTEMPORARY &
JAZZ CLASSES
Ages 6 years to adults.
Beginners to Advanced dancers.
We are fully registered at the Association of International Dance Teachers (AIDT-Adv Ass) and can enter students from beginner to Advanced for examinations.
DANCE STUDIES
(SCHOOL SUBJECT GR10-12)
Dance Studies can now be taken as a registered school subject.
The subject consists of both theory and practical training. Topics like nutrition, anatomy, theatre and history of dance are covered while the practical component consists of choreography, technical class work and stage performance.
